Daisy Drops by Marc Jacobs dazzles!

Marc Jacob’s new Daisy Drops aluminum container, created by Roberts Metal Packaging, is shortlisted for the UK Packaging Awards 2024.

This year we are delighted to reveal that our handbag-sized aluminium tins designed for Marc Jacobs’s popular scent ‘Daisy’ have been shortlisted for the UK Packaging Awards 2024.  The little tins packed a big punch with the judges, and we are honoured to be recognised for this year’s competition!

Pretty and practical!

Roberts was tasked to design a small container that fits the perfume drops, ready for convenience and travel. It needed to be re-sealable and easy to open for access on the go and to be completely leakproof. Design-wise, the jar wanted to look clean and pretty, to match the pre-existing aesthetic of the Daisy line. The much-loved scent Daisy is offered in three variants, Daisy signature, Daisy Love, and Daisy Eau so Fresh.

Each Daisy Drop container is made using aluminium which can be recycled again and again once empty. In addition, its clean and aesthetic design hopes that customers will re-use the tin after finishing the perfume capsules for other beauty products or trinkets.

Handy, travel size

Selected from Robert’s Softline jar range, the 15 ml and fully aluminium jar was made in the London-based factory, on state-of-the-art automated press lines. The jar is kept in theme with existing packaging from the Daisy line, decorated in white, with each flower matching its original to ensure consistency. The tins have a stunning shelf presence and are designed with smooth radi and light knurling complete with EPE liners for sealability.

We are excited to be selected as shortlisted for the UK Packaging awards 2024 and recognised by the judges for the standout shelf design!
